Fruit processing facility equipped with our machines

With great pleasure, we can announce that we have equipped the entire fruit processing facility in Gospić. The investor is the Lika-Senj County, and the facility is located within the Development Centre of Lika-Senj County. The complete project for renovating the old barracks and procuring the equipment was co-financed with EU funds.

The facility consists of three product groups:

FRUIT PROCESSING BY DRYING

The central part of the fruit-drying processing line is a dryer for fruit, vegetables, and medicinal herbs with a capacity of 400 kg per day. The dryer is operated using a Siemens PLC system with a touchscreen that enables the creation of very precise recipes within the desired time intervals. For easier handling of the fruit, two carts were manufactured, each containing 24 trays.

In addition to the dryer, we produced the rest of the necessary equipment to complete the drying process:

The cutter for eighths is foot-operated, while the slicer is pneumatically powered

Batch system suitable for small or medium-sized plants

FRUIT PROCESSING INTO GELLED PRODUCTS

The heart of the processing line for gelled fruit products is a vacuum cooker with a capacity of 100 litres. The cooker is automatically controlled via a control cabinet, and the heating is performed through a double jacket filled with water. A vacuum pump extracts steam and creates a vacuum, which lowers the boiling temperature. This results in higher-quality jams, marmalades, and preserves with maximally preserved fruit characteristics. The cooker is emptied through an outlet with a butterfly valve or via a special tilting system for the entire cooker.

PRODUCT FILLING AND PACKAGING

To complete the production process, a filling machine for jams, marmalades, and preserves was delivered, along with a semi-automatic, pneumatically powered jar capping machine for twist-off lids.

We produced a packaging machine for dried products, which enables precise filling of the desired weight into different types of packaging. The packer is electro-pneumatically powered and can also be used for packaging various other raw materials such as nuts, legumes, grains, pasta, and more.

For jar preparation, a washing and drying machine is used, operated by a programmable controller that automates the washing, rinsing, and drying cycles. Additionally, we supplied a labelling machine, a sealing machine, and a date-printing machine produced by our partners.
